Peats Bite - Hawkesbury River Weekend

After a week of wet weather, we were finally blessed with sunny skies and bright skies this as we prepared to depart for Peats Bite, an iconic water access only restaurant on the Hawkesbury River.  Our flagship Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht led the way for the 2 hour journey, with Callum Rodgers of Crog Films capturing aerial drone footage of our fleet who joined us from four different locations.

Despite a brief change back to wet weather, it was a relatively smooth journey and we reached our meeting place with the rest of the fleet near Brooklyn Bridge in clearer conditions.

We passed the township of Brooklyn displaying both classic and the latest model Rivieras including the new 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition and 505 SUV, perfectly suited to such a journey with the accommodation and facilities required for a few days away.

A magnificent day was unfolding as our Rivieras were guided into their berthing locations at the restaurant. In an atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty, our clients enjoyed a refreshing cocktail and socialised on the lawn.

The event was attended by more than 50 guests, who shared their boating experiences in the afternoon during a long degustation lunch. During the evening festivities, guests viewed a spectacular sunset while enjoying grazing platters and cocktails.

The  following morning, after delivering newspapers and coffee to our guests, we had the opportunity to recap the great day with likeminded boaters over breakfast. Some of our guests opted to stay and explore the Hawkesbury River area further as good cruising weather was predicted for the day.

It was a pleasure to spend time with such a great group of people, and we would like to express our gratitude to Peats Bite for their hospitality. The weekend was a great success for everyone.
