Peats Bite - Hawkesbury River Weekend
After a week of wet weather, Saturday morning favoured us with sunshine and bright skies at the Sydney Superyacht Yacht Marina for our weekend departure headed to Peats Bite, an iconic water access only restaurant on the Hawkesbury River.
Our flagship Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht lead the way for the 2 hour journey. Family member of this magnificent vessel – Callum Rodgers of Crog Films, captured aerial drone footage of our fleet who joined us from four different locations .
Despite a brief change back to wet weather, it was a relatively smooth journey and we reached our meeting place with the rest of the fleet near Brooklyn Bridge in clearer conditions.
We passed the township of Brooklyn displaying both classic and the latest model Rivieras including the new 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition and 505 SUV, perfectly suited to such a journey with the accommodation and facilities required for a few days away.
We are currently fortunate to have slots available for both of Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition and the 505 SUV later in the year, so contact us now to find out how to get on board.
A magnificent day was unfolding as our Rivieras were guided into their berthing locations at the restaurant. Our clients were greeted with a refreshing cocktail and an opportunity to socialise on the lawn surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty.
More than 50 guests dined on a long degustation lunch and enjoyed sharing their boating experiences through the day and later congregated on board each others vessels for late afternoon drinks.
At dusk, our guests continued the festivities enjoying grazing platters, cocktails and a picture perfect sunset in the distance.
It was a very relaxed start to Sunday morning, we delivered newspapers and coffee to our guests and once breakfast was served we had a chance to recap on the great day spend with likeminded boating people. With good cruising weather predicted for the day and new friendships formed, some of our guests chose to stay and explore more of the beauty in the Hawkesbury River area.
We much appreciate the time spent in company of a fantastic group of people and would like to express our gratitude to Peats Bite for their hospitality. A great weekend was enjoyed by all.
